Okay, so what's happening with all these Disney stars? Have you noticed that they're just falling apart? I mean, there's Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez and many more stars! Here's what's happening with them.
Demi Lovato punched her backup dancer because she supposedly was running her mouth about Demi behind her back. People say that Demi just walked up to her backup dancer, punched her, and just walked away like it was no big deal. That's what I heard. Sorry if I'm wrong. This happened during the Jonas Brothers & Demi Lovato tour. Then Demi quit the tour and checked into rehab for "physical and emotional issues." Some people say it was because of drugs (wouldn't be surprised) and others just want her to get better and actually believe that it was because of physical & emotional issues. I think now Demi's friends with Miley Cyrus. There's been some ups & downs between her & Selena Gomez's friendship. They were best friends ever since they auditioned for Barney, but now Selena's been hanging out with Taylor Swift. All I'm saying is that Demi needs to get her life back together. I hope she gets better and when I say that I wouldn't be surprised if she went to rehab for drugs I mean that I wouldn't be surprised if she did drugs. People are really harsh these days. What with blogs, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, phones and... well... just technology, information get out and they will get out one way or another if you are a celebrity and you did something scandalous. But people shouldn't be this harsh to Disney stars and even people who aren't Disney stars like Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, and more stars! I mean is society so harsh that even Disney stars are going to rehab (when they're 18 years old nonetheless!) and doing drugs. This is ridiculous. Somewhere Walt Disney is rolling around in his grave. I don't blame the Disney stars, I blame the people of society for they're harsh words and criticism. People need to stop judging everything little thing every celebrity does!
Miley Cyrus, as you all know, has had some racy pictures of herself leaked onto the Internet and eventually to all the news outlets. It was all over the media. That's when people starting calling her a "slut" or a "whore" and saying how she's "entering Britneydom" and just "becoming like Britney." But that was last year and the year before. Now she has been seen drinking some alcoholic beverages in Spain. But they weren't strong alcoholic beverages and in Spain it's technically legal to drink certain types of alcoholic beverages when you're 16 years old and up. I mean, personally, I don't see what the big deal is! I mean, there are people in my high school that drink and smoke stronger stuff and they're not even 18 years old yet. I'm not saying that you should drink or do drugs at such a young age, but it is legal and there's nothing you can do about that. Here's my theory (I'm really big on theories) I think Miley know's exactly what she's doing and she's doing it for attention and publicity and it's kinda working, but we've all seen that old, clichéd, young child star (that had so much promise & praise and was such an incredible role model to young people out there) that turned into a drugged up, alcoholic celebrity (that doesn't get so much praise anymore and is bashed every two seconds). We've seen it from Britney Spears (who eventually got her life together which I really admire), Lindsay Lohan (she's starring in a movie that comes out soon... so I guess that's a start...) and now Miley Cyrus. Maybe Demi's going down that road, but it's too early to tell. Now there's a new video of Miley surfacing on TMZ and YouTube (it was on the Wendy Williams show yesterday). The video is of Miley smoking a bong and the drug was called, salvia. Anna Oliver, Miley supposed BFF was filming the whole thing and said, "I'm going to document the heck out of this" or something like that. Some friend she has...
These are just some of the things going on with Disney stars. Now I'm just waiting for Selena Gomez to have some controversary about her life, other than ditching Demi for Taylor Swift. But Selena can have more than one best friend. I mean, Demi's life doesn't revolve around Selena and vice versa. But I do think that if Selena & Demi has been BFFs for a longg time then Selena should be by Demi's side while she's in rehab, but it's good Demi has her family. Anyways, I hope that society can lighten up on ALL the celebs though! Imagine yourselves in their shoes. You wouldn't like it very much if the public eye was watching & commenting on every move you make and then criticizing it. Just for the record, I think Miley & Demi have a lot of promise, Selena as well, so I hope they all get their lives together and I hope Demi & Selena become friends again because I think Demi needs a good friend like Selena. I also think that Miley needs some better friends in her life... friends that she can actually trust and not friends that document her smoking a bong (by the way salvia is way stronger than marijunana & can cause psychedelic effects).
All I'm saying is that I wish those Disney Stars (all of them!) the best in their life. When Walt Disney opened Disney World in July 18, 1955 he did not have this in mind...

Music These Days...
Have you heard music these days? Don't get me wrong I too have downloaded my fair share of Lady Gaga and Ke$ha and other various artists from Rhapsody (I don't have iTunes... I'm such a rebel lol), but have you ever stopped to actually listen to the lyrics and to the beat. Here's my advice (whether you want it or not), listen to an "old" 70s or even 80s song. Then listen to a song of today like, "TiK ToK" By: Ke$ha or "Baby" By: Justin Bieber. You'll see that the music of today is totally different than from the music of yesterday.
The reason why I put "old" in quotations marks was because to some naive, ignorant people it is "old." For me, it's real music. It's where the true art began. Don't get me wrong I listen to today's music just as much as I do music from the past. Artists like Janis Joplin, Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, The Temptations, James Brown, Prince, Madonna, Diana Ross & The Supremes and MANY, MANY MORE have changed the world and the music industry with they're songs, dance moves, acting, singing, performing. We should be paying homage to these beautiful artists.
The reason why I asked if you have ever listened to the lyrics of a song was because back then lyrics used to be meaningful. People talked about love and relationships in a respectable way, they talked about politics, how to change the world and many other things. There were (and still are) several topics for a song. Heck, it could even be about fried chicken like Zac Brown Band's "Chicken Fried" song or about a big green tractor like Jason Aldean's "Big Green Tractor" song! See! Anything can be a song! But nowadays all you see are women in skimpy outfits or stripping, men throwing cash, banging every girl they see and counting their money. Especially in hip-hop and rap music videos. I absolutely LOVE and RESPECT hip-hop and rap as a musical genre just like pop, rock or country but it's just the music videos that get to me. Most hip-hop and rap songs of today has a great beat and you could definitely go clubbing and hear the song or go to a party and dance to it, but the music videos are all pretty much the same. I'm not generalizing all the music videos, because some of them are different than others. In most of the music videos there is sex, money or drugs in it. People in hip-hop/rap music videos are either counting their money, stripping, smoking or throwing money to strippers, etc. For me, it's pretty boring. You could be a little more creative & artistic with the music videos, instead of showing the same actions over & over again. It's not just the hip-hop music videos that have this same theme, but pop as well. Mostly all the music videos are like this. There are other ways of getting people's attention besides doing these things and everyone out there knows it true. Lil' Wayne's a great rapper but I think that the only reason why people like him (besides his rapping) and put him on their Facebook music list is because he smokes openly and that influences other middle and high schoolers to do drugs and smoke. He makes smoking look cool and so more teenagers appeal to him & wanna smoke just like he does. Four words: Smoking is never cool. He even wrote a song called, "Lollipop" which has a great beat but the message of the song is basically sex. I understand that you have to be an artist and do your thing but you have to be respectful and considerate of other young people. Whether young people (like me) like to admit it or not, we ARE influenced pretty easily, especially by our parents, friends, celebrities and the media.
Another thing I hate is auto tune. Nowadays record companies have gotten soo lazy that they'll just get any hot guy or pretty girl (that has a not-so-great voice when singing live), auto tune them, make an album and book concerts for their world tour. Seriously?!? Are you serious? I mean, I understand that you use auto tune to perfect certain notes here and there (because nobody's perfect) but to auto tune most of the person's voice is ridiculous! For example, Ke$ha is pretty & her songs are catchy but her voice is soo computerized that I don't even know how her true singing voice is like... or if she even has one. Just sayin'! I was watching Glee weeks ago and Gwyneth Paltrow, the actress was there and she also sang. I understand that you would like to try out everything (acting, singing, dancing, etc.) but I just didn't see her as a singer. She should stick to acting. Her voice was pretty good but I just don't see her as a singer.
For me, a true artist is being a role model for young children and young adults out there. It's about having meaningful lyrics and not just flaunting your wealth. You're rich... WE KNOW! Can you talk about something else...? A true artist also donates his or her time, money & influence to an important cause. They give back to the community, they act humble & modest and NOT like a whore or a gigolo. There's a double standard about that. If a man gets a lot of women then he's the man! If a women gets a lot of guys, then she's a whore. That's wrong! I feel like a guy should treat his women with respect and give her love and not bang every chick he sees. Ya know? A true artist is singing about something that sometimes, you haven't even experienced AT ALL but yet, making it sooo believable to the audience and public thus, evoking true emotion from them. I feel that nowadays we have lost the true essence of what it is to be a true artist and I fear we'll never get it back because people aren't opening their eyes and actually seeing how they're really acting.

Why I Made This Blog
I made this blog to help people vent their feelings, worries, dreams, etc. I also wanted a place where I could just say whatever I want, whenever I want without the fear of being bad mouthed or judged by the harsh words of the public. Lots of people don't know me and probably never will, but to be honest if you really took the time to actually know me than you'd know who I really am. I think that it doesn't matter where you come from, what you look like, everyone has a dream. Everyone has the potential to dream and to achieve that dream. I mean, let's face it. All we have in life is our dreams. Take away all the materialistic things in life and you'll see that dreams are pretty much all we can have, even when we are at our lowest. People who really know me know that I'm philosophical when I wanna be and I actually give pretty good advice. But... let's get to the point. I'm doing this blog for me and for people who want to listen. If you don't wanna listen, then don't. It's as simple as that. This blog isn't going to be just about just a 'safe haven' where you can reveal your dreams and fears, it's also a place where you can pretty much talk about anything. Nothing is off limits. One day I could be talking about a certain celebrity and the latest news in the 'celeb world' and the next I could be talking about the president of the United States. Like I said, nothing is off limits! So... please feel free to comment & express your thoughts about a certain subject. If you have any questions for me also feel free to ask. This is a random blog and a very 'freeing' blog, (at least for me it is). So ask away...
